The sublime Bohuslän Coast is known for being one of Sweden's most beautiful regions. Situated between Gothenburg and the Norwegian border, the coast is famous for its 8000 small islands and its special reddish granite which is most beautiful during sunset. But its rocky islands not only create a great scenery, they also offer amazing possibilities for kayaking.
We do love to travel in a camper van and I must say that Denmark was a perfect destination for that. In only a bit more than one week we were able to discover a big part of the country. This is our itinerary:
If you love nature, an excursion to Mandø island, a small island of 8 km2 with only 40 inhabitants in the middle of the Wadden sea, is a must-do in Denmark. The small access road which gets flooded twice per day makes this day trip an unforgettable experience.
