Switzerland had been on our travel list for a long time, and exploring it by campervan felt like the perfect adventure. Bouillon, this picturesque village in the belgian Ardennes, is a main tourist attraction in the area. It is famous for its beautiful and majestic castle overlooking the river. When spending a day in Bouillon, you can visit the famous castle, walk through its small alleys, enjoy the river promenade of the Semois river and follow Godfrey of Bouillon all the way to Jerusalem.
The famous Rhine falls in Switzerland, not far from the German border between Schaffhausen and Zurich, is the most powerful waterfall in Europe and a majeur tourist attraction in Switzerland. In summer, the water flows at a rate of 600,000 litres per second and boats take you right on the bottom of this amazing natural site which was formed in the last ice age, more than 15,000 years ago.

The first trip after buying our camper van was going to Sweden, one of the best camper van destinations in Europe where wild camping is not a problem. This is the itinerary of our three weeks road trip in this Northern European country with its more than 100.000 lakes.
Hiking is one of the main summer activities in Switzerland and the beautiful mountain panorama is always worth the detour. But this time, we wanted to see more than that and decided to visit the Aletsch Arena in the Bernese Alps to hike along the famous Aletsch Glacier, the greatest (and probably most accessible) glacier of the Alps.
When thinking about Sweden, most people probably think of the lakes with its red cabins, wide landscapes and... well... reindeers. While we did see lots of lakes and even more red cabins on our road trip in southern Sweden, we somehow missed the northern wilderness and its special fauna. This is why, we decided to go North and experience another Sweden, a much more lonely Sweden with unpaved roads, an uninhabited landscape as far as the eye can see and, of course, reindeers, these beautiful animals from the North.

The Pointe du Raz is almost but not quite the westernmost point of France but its huge waves hitting the beautiful high cliffs, its strong wind and its old light tower, named the "Little Old Lady" make this place a popular spot for tourists and locals.
